We’ve gotten so used to being very busy that the first thing we do as soon as we get up is to check our emails and then check out various social media platforms.
Thing is, when we do that, we end up being vacuumed immediately into consumption. Our minds consume the things we read so fast and that puts a toll on our bodies.
This then makes us feel heavy and frustrated – feeling as though we’ve lost time and we are now running out of time because we have “so much more” to consume.
Below are three of my secrets as to how I accomplish a lot and have the energy to do so.
1. Start the week with Journaling –
Ask yourself – what do I want to create this week?
This question directs your mind into focusing on what you want to create instead of consume.
When we create, we feel more fulfilled and we feel lighter because of it is in our innate nature to share pieces of ourselves to the world.
Creation does that. After creating something, we feel as though we’ve contributed quite a lot to society.
2. Don’t schedule so many things on Monday.
Mondays are usually when we just start being more attuned to a new week.
Think of it like a warm up… We are just warming up to get the hang of what the upcoming week is going to bring us.
Take this day as an opportunity to gear up for the coming week! You can’t do that if you’re busy catching your breath already!
3. Take the time to reflect.
If you’ve followed me for a while, you know I’m a journal lover – I literally go through one journal every few weeks!
Sometimes when we are caught up in the hustle and bustle, our focus is on what we lack, what we have not accomplished, where we went wrong
This mindset makes us feel ashamed or disgusted with ourselves for not measuring up.
Hence reflection is necessary. As we look back and see what we’ve accomplished and what we’ve helped accomplish, we enter an energy of light and energy of abundance and completion!
Blessing of miracles,
